Text Box: We Won!!!!! Just in case you haven’t heard by now, Llanmaes was awarded FIRST PRIZE in the ‘Best Kept Village’ in the Vale of Glamorgan’s Competition. The result was announced at a Celebration Dinner held at Dyffryn Springs on Wednesday 9th July and is a truly superb achievement following on from the excellent result of third place last year. A VERY BIG THANK YOU to everyone who planted, painted, cleaned, swept, pruned, mowed, dug and generally did anything else that made Llanmaes look so beautiful and helped contribute to this well earned success. This has been a huge community effort by one and all and grateful thanks go out to Richard Leach and his team of helpers. We should all be justly proud of our stunning village.
